Biographical Sketch:
Fenis Cregg Dycus was born November 5, 1891. He served in the Army for one year during WWI, from July 21, 1918 until June 19, 1919. He worked as a school teacher for 40 years, teaching at 27 different schools, with the majority of these being located in Livingston County. Mr. Dycus passed away on January 22, 1983 in Kuttawa, KY and was buried in Cothron Cemetery in Smithland, KY.
Description:
Mr. Dycus recalls his U.S. Army service and experiences during World War I. He speaks briefly of his years as a teacher.
