Second Lieut. E. Weaks Smith; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Paducah, Ky., May 25, 1896; Son of Frank and Callie Smith; Entered Infantry February 13, 1918; Received commission at C. O. T. S. Camp Gordon, Ga. Instructor C. O. T. S. Camp Grant.

Second Lieut. S. Sinclair Skinner; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Martin's Mills, Tenn. Son of Lon and Lina Skinner; Entered Infantry April 18, 1917; Was trained at Fort Thomas, Ky., and Syracruse, N. Y. Sailed for France September, 1917. Was in several of the great battles. Received his commission February, 1918. Was later made instructor in the Officers' Training School, France.
