Second Lieut. Olney N. Futrell; Paducah, Kentucky; Born in McCracken County, Ky., Sept. 1, 1895; Son of Dan and Sue Futrell; Entered the Field Artillery July 16, 1917; Trained at Ft. Thomas. Transferred to McPherson, Ga., later transferred to Camp Taylor Officers' Training School, where he received his commission as second lieutenant.
