Captain Horace T. Rivers; Paducah, Kentucky; Born in Ballard County, Ky., August 30, 1869; Son of Tom and Susan Rivers; Entered Army August 1917. After finishing the course at Medical Officers' Training Camp, Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., was sent to Camp Dix, N. J., where he had charge of the operating pavillion in Base Hospital. Received discharge for disability incurred in line of duty.
