8mm film depicting scenes of towboats, river travel, bridges, scenes of towns from the river and from onboard a barge. Opening shot shows the towboat G.F. McCall and is followed by a few minutes of video footage from a moving boat. A man receives a haircut at 3:10. Scenes of men working aboard a boat start around 5:30. A tanker for Pure Oil called the David D. Irwin is shown around the 8:30 mark. Secenes later in the film show trees covered with Spanish moss and an airboat. Near the 24:00 mark is a scene of men playing baseball. There is no sound to the film. Year and exact locations are unknown. Length of film 24:33
