Biographical Sketch:
Anthony “Tony” Roddy is an Iraq War Veteran who retired from the USDA Forest Service in 2014. He began his “Walk About America” April 19, 2015 in Wells Beach, Maine, and finished in Imperial Beach, California, December 15th, 2015. He crossed 13 states in 244 days along with his push cart, "Esmeralda,' helping the Make-A-Wish foundation. In 2020 he published his book, "Out for a Walk." Mr. Roddy was born May 16. 2017 Anthony Roddy born April 2, 1959, in Pulaski, Illinois to Florence and Clarence Roddy.
