Private John R. Yancy; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Paducah, July 10, 1897; Son of J. D. and Rebecca Yancy; Entered Army June 24, 1918. Served with Co. E., 125th Infantry, 32nd Division Trained at Camp Taylor and Camp Beaureguard. Sailed for France September, 1918. Was in the battles of Verdun and Argonne Woods.

Private Joab Watson; Paducah, Kentucky, Route 4; Born in McCracken Co., Ky., Feb. 28, 1891; Son of Joe and Wirta Watson; Entered Army July 22, 1918. Served with 87th Engineers' Corps. Trained at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Ind., and Camp Taylor, Ky. Had embarked for France, but when the armistice was signed troops were unloaded and sent to Camp Merritt, N. J. Was honorably discharged January 7, 1919, at Camp Taylor.

Private Thomas Barney Dean; Paducah, Kentucky; Born in Pope County, Ill., May 6, 1893; Son of Willard F. and Sarah E. Dean; Entered Army September, 1917. Served with Co. D., 39th Infantry. Was wounded July 18, 1918. Afterwards transferred to Casualty Camp, Headquarters Co., District of Paris.

Private Dr. A. L. Petter; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Paducah June 11, 1891; Son of Sophia C. and Frank C. Petter; Graduated from Annapolis Dental College; Volunteered June 1918. Served with Dental Co. 1, Section I, Camp Greenleaf, Ga. Honorably discharged December 18, 1918.

Private James T. Jones; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Lone Oak, Ky., August 11, 1895; Son of Anna B. and Irvin T. Jones; Entered Army August 1, 1917. Served with Battery F., 123rd Field Artillery. Was on the Argonne front, also at St. Mihiel.
