Willie E. Williams; First Class Sergeant; Paducah, Kentucky; Son of Susie and Edward Williams; Entered Service October 12, 1916; Was raised from a baby boy by his grandmother, Mrs. Mary J. Williams, and at the age of 14 enlisted in the U. S. Navy and cruised the world on the U. S. S. Virginia. Served four years in Navy. Was drowned April 29, 1918, at Camp Travis, Texas. Auxillary Remount Depot.

Dennis F. Berry; First Class Sergeant; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Clinton, Ky., January 28, 1891; Son of Fannie and William Berry; Entered Air Service December 13, 1916. Received first training at Fort Thomas, Ky. Transferred to Talifero Fields in Texas. Remained there until the armistice was signed, then sent to Camp Taylor, where he was discharged February 3, 1919.
