Stationed at Camp Buell, Ky., for few weeks, then was selected and transferred to Officer's Training Camp at Camp Grant, Rockford, Ill.

James Clay Finley; Paducah, Kentucky; Born at Paducah, Ky., October 18, 1885; Son of Tate and Zora Finley; In 1906 joined the Standing Army; Was stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kans., two years, then two years in the Philippine Islands. Honorably discharged at Fort Sills, Okla., in 1910. Re-enlisted January 6, 1917, at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. Was with Gen. Pershing's forces in Mexico. At the time the armistice was signed was stationed at Base Hospital at Fort Oglethorpe.
