Port side of the sternwheeler DESTREHAN at the Paducah Marine Ways. According to Way's Packet Directory, 1848-1983, the DESTREHAN (Way #T0594), a sternwheeler towboat with a steel hull (133.9 x 32 x 5.4), was built by the Ward Engineering Works in Charleston, W.VA. in 1922. Originally owned by the Pan American Petroleum Company of New Orleans, it was later bought by the American Rolling Mill Company and her name changed to the CHARLES R. HOOK.
